Evin Merve Jakob studied Philosophy and Cultural and Social Anthropology at the Goethe-University Frankfurt and wrote her Master's thesis on "Dialogue between Muslim communities and the police in Rheinland-Pfalz" under Prof. Dr. Schröter and Dr. Abou Taam.
She works at the State Office of Criminal Investigation in Rheinland-Pfalz, with the focus on Islamic extremism, terrorism and internal security.
